Rob Bironas, former NFL kicker for the Tennessee Titans, passed away on Sept. 20 after he lost control of his car and crashed into a tree. Rob was just 36.
Rob Bironas has sadly passed away. The 36-year-old son-in-law to Fox NFL Sunday co-host Terry Bradshaw, 66, and former kicker for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans died on Sept. 20 following injuries he sustained in a car crash in Nashville.

This is just heartbreaking. Rob passed away on Sept. 20 after a car accident, TMZreports. Rob lost control of his vehicle while traveling at a high speed after 11 p.m. He crashed into a line of trees and his car flipped over.
Rob was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he was later pronounced dead, the outlet reports. Police told the outlet that there’s no evidence that alcohol or drugs caused the accident. The crash happened less than a mile from his home.
Rob played college football for Georgia Southern University and Auburn University. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2002. He went on to play for the Tennessee Titans, serving as kicker from 2005 to 2013.
The former NFL player married NFL legend Terry’s daughter Rachel in June 2014 in Dallas, Texas.
